This project was designed specifically with Christmas in mind, however, with a couple of minor changes this gorgeous project could easily be used to commemorate a birth or christening of a special little girl or even a wedding or wedding anniversary.
An alternative leaf applique shape has been included, together with instructions to convert this project into whatever you would like it to be.

The pattern includes a full sized pattern sheet that doubles as a layout guide.

Fabric requirements (assumes 44/45" fabric width):
1 1/4yd natural linen
a total of 3/4yd of complimentary fabrics for the applique shapes
1/3yd stripe or print for binding
1 1/2yd backing fabric (includes enough fabric to create a hanging pocket)

Fabric is sold by the yard.
